What are mount points and how does listening time limitation work?

Below you will find a complete overview of the mount points used on your radio platform, including a description of their respective functions and the specified listening time limits.

The listening time limit ensures that listeners are automatically disconnected after a certain period of time. This can serve both technical and licensing requirements.

🔊 /stream

This is the main stream of your radio station. This is where the current program is usually broadcast—either via AutoDJ or a live broadcast.

🎙 /stream_live

This mount point is used specifically for live broadcasts and represents the server’s main access data.

Please note: These should only be used if there are technical or organizational reasons that prevent the use of individual moderator accounts.

🤖 /autodj

This mount point transmits the automatic music program (AutoDJ).

Important: If live streaming is done directly via AutoDJ (e.g., via Butt or Mixxx), listeners will also hear the live stream via this mount point.
