Setup tutorial for your radio station’s browser plugin

This tutorial will guide you through the setup of the browser plugin. Read carefully and you should have no problems.

Google Chrome

  1. Configure the plugin in SPCast Administration under “Browser Plugin – Settings.”
  2. Navigate back to “Browser Plugin – Dashboard” and click on “Download Browser Plugin” in the upper right corner.
  3. Register in Google’s developer store: https://www.spcast.eu/registrierung-im-chrome-web-store-entwickler-dashboard/
  4. Navigate to the Developer Dashboard: https://chrome.google.com/u/1/webstore/devconsole/
  5. Click on “New item” in the top right corner.
  6. Upload the archive you downloaded in step 2 to the developer store and follow Google’s instructions and guidelines to publish your radio station in the store.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Configure the plugin in SPCast Administration under “Browser Plugin – Settings.”
  2. Navigate back to “Browser Plugin – Dashboard” and click on “Download Browser Plugin” in the upper right corner.
  3. Register at Microsoft’s developer store: https://developer.microsoft.com/de-de/microsoft-edge/extensions and click on "Sign in to Partner Center."
  4. Navigate to the Developer Dashboard: https://partner.microsoft.com/de-de/dashboard/microsoftedge/overview
  5. Click on “Create new extension” in the top left corner.
  6. Follow Microsoft’s instructions and, during the process, upload the archive you downloaded in step 2.

Final note

The plugin is based on Google Chrome specifications. Browsers such as Microsoft Edge can also access Google Chrome Web Store. Firefox is not based on the Chrome engine and is therefore not currently supported by the plugin.
