What are mount points and how does the listening time limit work?

Below you will find a complete overview of the mountpoints used on your radio platform, including a description of their respective function and the defined listening time limit.

The listening time limit ensures that listeners are automatically disconnected after a certain period of time. This can serve both technical and licensing requirements.

🔊 /stream

This is the main stream of your radio station. The current program is usually broadcast here – whether by the AutoDJ or a live broadcast.

🎙 /stream_live

This mountpoint is used specifically for live transmissions and represents the main access data of the server.

Please note: These should only be used if there are technical or organizational reasons for not using the individual moderator accesses.

🤖 /autodj

This mountpoint transmits the automatic music program (AutoDJ).

Important: If live streaming takes place directly via the AutoDJ (e.g. via Butt or Mixxx), the listeners will also hear the live stream via this mountpoint.

🎵 /stream.mp3

Alternative URL for the main stream in .mp3 format– useful for compatibility with older players or direct linking.

📶 /stream256

🎧 /stream192

🎧 /stream128

🎧 /stream96

Stream at 96 kbps – ideal for mobile use with limited bandwidth.

🎧 /stream64

🎧 /stream48

Even lower data stream with 48 kbps – suitable for minimal audio playback or pure voice content.

🎧 /stream32

Minimal stream with only 32 kbps – ideal for extremely reduced audio content or emergency operation.
