Hosting for music and live shows
The base plan includes 100 concurrent listeners, 50 GB of AutoDJ storage, broadcaster accounts and streaming at up to 320 kbit/s. AutoDJ accepts MP3 only.
| Service | Monthly price |
|---|---|
| SPCast base plan | 30 €* |
| Each additional concurrent listener | 0.18 €* |
| Each additional GB of AutoDJ storage | 0.11 €* |
| Optional web hosting | from 5 €* |
A listener slot is one simultaneous stream connection. Choose capacity for your busiest listening periods, not the total number of listeners over a month.

How SHOUTcast connects to SPCast
SPCast uses its own server engine and supports connections through the SHOUTcast protocol. The service includes SPCast management; it does not provide an unchanged SHOUTcast server. The details below help you connect your existing software.
Check the connection and credentials
Open product management and select the intended broadcaster account. Copy the host, port, username, password and mount point exactly from its connection settings. The public listening URL is for reception; it does not replace broadcaster credentials. Never publish broadcasting passwords in a player or website.
The SID field in the SHOUTcast setup of SAM Broadcaster accepts numbers only. SPCast uses the mount point for this connection route. Use the Icecast route described in the SAM guide instead.
Listeners can use the provided HTTPS URLs over standard port 443. This does not establish the port or TLS setting for your encoder. Follow the settings for the particular account; restrictive firewalls can also limit standard ports.
Choose an encoder guide
The documented Icecast route is covered for BUTT, Mixxx, SAM Broadcaster, RadioBOSS and mAirList. Check the instructions against your software version.
AutoDJ accepts MP3 only. Live broadcasting also supports AAC, M4A, OGG and FLAC; the encoder, container and listening device must support the chosen format. Start the connection test with MP3, then check other formats separately.
Test before broadcasting
Connect one encoder first and play audio you have permission to broadcast. Listen on a second device using the public stream URL. Check track information, levels and the return to AutoDJ after disconnecting. If the test fails, compare credentials and the error message before changing protocols.
The setup tutorial walks through this process. Existing stations can use the migration guide to plan player updates, directory changes and a fallback.
